Information for submitting your music recordings to WXEA/EAE Radio Networks is as follows...
The Submission Process:
1st. No Submission Fee! We receive thousands of submissions so we may not contact you if your music is APPROVED. Track spins by registering for SpinReports.com
2nd. Send us your music using the form: www.eaeradio.com/submit.
3rd. The only way to receive guaranteed radio spins is to REQUEST your music (EAERADIO.com/request). Once your music is requested more than THREE times, your song will play AUTOMATICALLY within the hour if we have it in our library. To get your music in our library CLICK HERE or go to RADIOPUSHERS.com and hire the DJ/Radio Personality you want to manage your campaign.
By sending us your MP3, you have given us permission to broadcast or otherwise exhibit your CD or MP3, in whole and/or in part.
To send an MP3, use the form only.
To better your chances of receiving guaranteed airplay on our complete network, you may directly hire radio DJs and promoters via www.radiopushers.com
Attach your information (after payment is made).
By submitting your music through this gateway in no way implies that your CD or MP3 has been selected for airplay, rotation, spins or be screened by our programming staff for consideration; any decisions to air any music shall be at the program directors’ sole discretion. Because of the volume of music we get weekly, feedback cannot be given to individual songs, recordings, or projects. Thanks for your understanding.
If you are selected for interviews/airplay, a radio personality will personally contact you. Please leave your name and contact info within your mail, music/CD/MP3. All CD/MP3, pictures, posters, flyers submitted to WXEA/EAE Radio Networks become the property of WXEA/EAE Radio Networks and will not be returned.
DO NOT send us a master copy. If you would like it returned, please specify on the CD or MP3 and include a self addressed stamped envelope.
Things NOT to do:
1) DO NOT show up to our studio without an appointment. Do not hang outside the office in hopes of talking to someone about your music.
2) Do not promote your music or projects to other staff members. They have NO decision on what airs.
3) Do not forget to include all of your information.
4) Do not e-mail or submit multiple forms everyday to see if we've "recieved" your music.
5) Do not get frustrated ...again we are extremely busy and will contact you if we need to. We have millions of listeners, 20 radio stations and 3,000 priotiry clients to manage.
Here is some great "music industy advice"...
A) Be serious about this. Be professional.
B) Utilize all media outlets and radio stations. We are not the only radio network around.
C) Make sure you have a marketing plan. Website, myspace, twitter, you tube and itunes are good ways to get the word out. (...also make sure your websites and myspace pages are "clean" and "friendly". Make it look professional. Delete vulgar pictures and comments. Those are huge turn offs to radio stations and record labels)
D) Get a manager who knows the music business.
E) Get your music played at clubs. Hit up club dj's and have them listen to your song and play it to a crowd. See what the response is.
There is so much more to being played "on the radio" than most people think. Your music has to be in the same league as Missy Elliott, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and everyone else you currently hear on the radio.
Know what the music trends are.
Whats hot now, may not be hot later.
Thank you for submitting your music and good luck!
